Watch me try to crawl.......

We are mobile!!

I don't know where the time has gone. It really seems like just yesterday I was waiting to meet my little man. And here he is, almost 7 months! Being a parent is absolutely amazing. To watch this little person from birth learn and try new things is unbelievable. What is so incredible is that this little person is so much his own person. Already we see in him so many different qualities. I think his best quality is his smile and the way he laughs. He is such a happy baby and very playful, already you can see that he has a great sense of humor and loves to laugh.
We just attended our first district convention and Noah did so well. He is such a people person that he loved every minute of it, especially the pool at the hotel. Every night we would go out to the pool and he would giggle and kick away. We even went out to eat for the first time on the last day of convention. Lets just say we were tired.
Noah is now very mobile and can get around pretty fast. He can get his knees under him but still hasn't been able to figure out what to do but use them both at the same time to push him forward............give him another week. I'm hoping to post a video that I took of his first attempt to crawl on his knees. I was fortunate enough to catch this on video. It was cute to watch him concentrate and try and figure out what to do. Hope you enjoyed the video!

3 months old

I can't believe Noah is already 3 months old. Time is just flying by. He is such a happy little guy. He loves people, especially kids. Noah is becoming mobile and can rollover easily and can raise himself up with his arms. He's even trying to sit up on his own and I'm waiting for mama or Dada any day because he has been trying to talk for a long time. He's doing great at the meetings. He loves sitting on mommy's lap and watching everybody. He seems to like to watch me talk during the day but when Daddy gets home he starts blabbering on. He gets so excited when Daddy gets home, it's the sweetest thing to see.
Some big things that have happened was our first plane ride to Texas to visit mommy's family and Noah did awesome on the plane. We really enjoyed our visit and Noah loved his dancing times with Grandma. We also saw Noah get really excited when he saw Mommy's cousins who are 3 and 2 years old wrestle. During our visit we took a road trip to a little small town in Texas called Lockhart and visited a famous BBQ restaurant it was delicious. Noah seemed to like all the smells. Noah also got his first set of shots last month, Mommy hated it. Noah was such a trooper. But I think Daddy needs to do that next time. Noah also had his first haircut. He was losing all of his baby hair in patches so Daddy used the clippers and gave him a matching buzz cut. I thought Noah would freak about the clippers but he loved it. Now he looks like a mini Kris.
Noah has had some visitors lately he got a visit from his cousins Maya and Isabella. He seemed to really like the girls. He seemed to be mesmerized by uncle Jake's tie. Grandma and Grandpa Richart also came to see him this last weekend.
We can't wait to take him swimming this summer and we are hoping to take him on his first camping trip soon.
Well I hope everyone is doing well. Enjoy pics below.

Noah is 5 weeks old today

Hi everyone!

Mom and Dad have sure been busy with their new little man. We've both been meaning to get onto this blog and update everyone on baby Noah but haven't had the chance. Well, he was born on Jan.29,2009 at 8:59 pm, weighed 8 lbs 9 oz and was 21 3/4 inch long. I know, he was big. (I never realized there was some special club I'd be admitted to for having a big baby. Everyone who ever had a big baby lets me know "I know how you feel, I too had a big baby", whatever that means. I'm still waiting on the secret hand shake.)
Delivery was no walk in the park for sure and if anyone tells you any different they're either lying or from another planet! Poor Noah had a rough start but improved immediately. Once home Noah settled in right away and is doing great now. We can't believe how much he's grown in this short time. Last week we had his 1 month visit and I was informed by the Doctor that he was absolutely perfect! As if I needed anyone to tell me that, Mom and Dad knew that already! Noah is also in the 75th percentile in growth which last Weds. was 10 lbs 13 oz. His new thing is copying Mommy and sticking his tongue out.
I've posted a collage of pictures which I call the "The Many Faces of Noah", I hope everyone enjoys them. Hope everyone is doing well!!
